I idea this was a great recipe as is. I have never fried Zucchini before. I did double the recipe because the zucchini I had was huge. Will make over again

Extremely Gustation-y! I substituted two tablespoons of olive oil instead of the vegetable oil. And I used Fatty Gratuitous Parm Cheese instead for health reasons.

My good friend grows enormous zucchini every year and this year she gave me 1 that was 16 inches long and 5.5 pounds. I sliced it lengthwise and cleaned out the the seeds which were the size of pumpkin seeds. (I should accept roasted the seeds but didn't. I found this recipe since I had so much left over after I fabricated 2 large loaves, two mini loaves. I really omitted the parmesan and replaced it with panko staff of life crumbs. I finished them off by sprinkling themimmediately with my bootleg cajun /old bay seasoning: Cajun seasoning ane T coarsely croaky whole black pepper. two teasopoons sweet paprika. ane teaspoon dry mustard. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. one/ii dried sage. 1/iv teaspoon cayenne I added salt to taste also My family loved it!!!!

This was EXCELLENT. Its the first fourth dimension my fried zucchini came out PERFECT. The batter stayed on the zucchine slices and the taste was wonderful. Thank you!

This was delicious. I had no problems with the coating sticking to the zucchini, the whole batch turned out perfectly. The Italian flavour was prissy, I will probably experiment with other seasonings to switch things upwardly this zucchini flavor, only this base recipe needs no changes. Thanks!

This is a tasty recipe and is excellent for using upwardly extra zucchini from the garden. My married man fabricated a yummy mustard dipping sauce for these by mixing Tbls horseradish mustard, three Tbls mayo, 1 Tbls regular yellow mustard, 1 tea. habanero hot sauce. Savour!!

Simply tried this recipe in my new Fry Daddy!! It was delicious! I even got my daughter to eat zucchini when she swears she doesn't like information technology! This recipe is a keeper!!

I had a peckish for fried zucchini fries (I sliced them like chips) that I got from a restaurant. I saw that a few posters said it lacked flavor, then I took care to add fresh garlic to the egg wash/mixture and added onion powder to the concoction. To really turn upward the flavor, without turning up the heat, I sprinkled them with paprika later on taking them out of the hot oil. Hubby threatened to swallow them all! :) Great, piece of cake recipe!

Crawly! Be sure and drain on newspaper towels, not a rack or they'll be besides greasy, equally I discovered. Also I used panko westward/ a little Italian seasoning.

I made these but baked them in the oven at 375 for 25 minutes to avoid the oil. Yummmmmm

My hubby and I enjoyed this very much. Ease of prep and the flavor was actually good. I was out of garlic, though and I know it would have given this an fifty-fifty better flavor. Volition try again!

perfect i used grated romano/ parmesan added fresh basil from the garden less garlic & a sprinkle or 2 of italian seasonings I fried it all in a bandage iron skillet (from grandma) then information technology was golden chocolate-brown & excellent this first time i cut thick slabs of zucchini next time i call back i will cut them thin like chips ..they got darker & crisper werent as "soggy" as the thickest slabs but BOTH ways this is a not bad recipie

Blanket was tasty but I have to say that 95% of the blanket was not on the zucchinis and then it sort of defeated the purpose. I done and dried the zucchinis before dipping in the egg mixture so I'chiliad not quite sure what happened. Information technology was very disappointing and I usually LOVE allrecipes recipes. Whatever suggestions to how to become the coating to stick to the zucchinis?I'thou baffled.

Just fabricated this tonight! eleven/two/2012. Eating place Quality! Used Kraft Parm in the green container from the grocery aisle. Store Brand bread crumbs salt pepper cracked blackness peppercorn forgot the garlic powder sprinkled a lil over the top later on cooking them Yum um MY! I have eaten at Applebee'southward blazon restaurants since forever and these are good..really, really practiced. Thank you and so much.. actually on weight watchers and wanted a snack... Perfecto! This was actually dinner/snack so good...lol..

I added some shredded cheese on top when I took them out of the oil. Bang-up recipe and easy to do. Its nice to discover something different than the same old fried zucchini slices! tin change the taste with the breading too!

I started whipping these spears up for our neighbor'due south canis familiaris's coronation equally the queen of their family. Haha, it was something else! Anyway, I ran into one HUGE trouble in my prep. It turned out we were completely out of Parmesan. I didn't want to go with no cheese and so I topped these off with a healthy portion of cottage cheese, one staple I'm never without! Let me tell you, it was a REVELATION. Cottage cheese tin simply make any dish a belly buster. These were DELICIOUS!

I tried this recipe for the first time. I received some fresh zucchini from a friends garden. It was amazing and but the taste that I wanted. I added a little more spices since I'm from the south. It only added to the recipe but it took nothing from it. Thank you lilcupcake.

This was pretty tasty! I cut the zucchini like fries, adjacent time I remember I'll slice, seems like it would be easier to turn in the pan. Both my kids ate this without complaint, so that in itself makes information technology worth it!

I grew up frying Zucchini and yellow squash. Instead of bread crumbs we employ yellow cornmeal. the next time I fry some upwards I volition add the Parmesan cheese and italian seasonings. Overnice change!

The zucchini tasted fine, notwithstanding well-nigh all of the breading roughshod off- almost immediately after hitting the pan. Also, the measurements in this recipe are way off. I only used one zucchini, just I had to employ about a cup and a half of breadcrumbs to coat all of the planks. Basically, this recipe just needs a lot of tweaking.

I made this recipe and was glad I tried information technology, my married man ate all but 4 pieces. I used slices instead of spears. The batter stayed on nicely. I used part bread crumbs and the Ritz crackers. I think it made it a little on the sugariness side. The flavor was inviting. lulusmom

The egg, and the batter past extension, did non stick to my zucchini. Maybe it'due south because I used fresh zucchini out of the garden? Or mayhap it was the fresh eggs from my chickens? Anyway, I concluded up tossing out the breadcrumb mixture and reverting back to my katsu breading method of flour, egg, panko. I as well salted the zucchini sticks to draw out the moisture while I was switching setups. I used Italian-seasoned Panko and information technology turned out ok. The flour made the egg stick better and I was able to at least get some batter onto the zucchini.

I would requite this less than the ratting I did, if bachelor. This was the worst recipe I have e'er worked with. Peradventure, if it called to broil the zucchini, it may have survived. The egg base did not hold the dried ingredients to the zucchini, so I had a pan of fried dry ingredients and bare zucchini. Thankfully, I tried this with my family first and did non have guests. Information technology will be deleted form my recipe box! Awful!
